Christmas

every one can tell you that christmas is supposed to be about being with your famil but, we all know truely they al just want the prestents, toys, or clothes that they are going to get. more and more every year people are turning this holiday away from what the true meaning is. the true meaning of christmas is supposed to be about jesus' birth and how he has come for us and to save us. how we got the word christmas  in the first place is because churches used to have what was called a chirst's mass in where they celebrated jesus' birth. and the day happened to be on December 25th but as the time went on the secular culture shortened this to christmas and proclaimed it be be a holiday.
and how did Santa clause start? it started with Saint nicholas who used to give his money to those who really needed it. especially to these three sisters who didn't have enough money to get married. so Saint nicholas in the dead of night threw three bags of money into the sisters house so that they might be able to get married. but, by accident; he threw the bags of money into the girls stockings that were laying by the fire and from that day on people have hung stockings from the fire so that Saint nicholas may put goodies or miney into them.
